World Environment Day

This day serves as uniting individuals from various groups, organisations, societies etc. To come together and participate in sustainable practices and contribute towards making a positive change. It allows you to help restore the planet by doing your bit for the environment, whether it is a cleaning up campaign, planting trees, educational campaigns, beach clean and many more such activities. This day aids as an influential reminder of communal duty we share in protecting our planet and the upcoming generations.

Let’s get to work. Plant trees! Pick up waste! Recycle! Shop responsibly! Once we believe it can be done, we must take action to make it so let’s restore the world by doing our bit.

At Nomads we truly believe that easy changes can make shopping more responsible. Slow fashion is a hot topic - being able to be fashionable and kind to the planet. We are proud be a part of slow fashion movement. We support mindful production, and our clothing is made of natural fibres which are biodegradable and have a longer lifespan. In this way our team is contributing to waste reduction and minimizing the environmental impact of the fashion industry and endorsing ethical practices.

We are always looking for new ways to minimise our impact on the environment and work closely with everyone involved in our journey to do the same - from our head office in the UK to our production partners in India, and our worldwide retailers in between. Most of our production units have water recycling plants, and all factory discharges are kept within legal limits to ensure they have minimal impact on the environment or people. Not only this, but we also plan our production and shipping in a way that most of our goods are shipped through sea minimizing the carbon footprint.

To save perfectly usable items from landfill, we donate product samples, rejects to charity, and repurpose remnant fabrics.
