Our Sustainable Viscose is made from wood pulp, creating a natural fibre that is both breathable and biodegradable. Our viscose fibres are produced using a closed loop system, using carefully sourced pulp from FSC-certified forests. It uses much less energy and water to produce than regular viscose. Growing trees also helps to improve soil quality, prevent soil erosion and retain water and are grown organically without pesticides.
Being produced in a closed-loop system reduces the amount of waste in producing the fibres and the fabric manufacturing units have water treatment plants that treat the processing water before releasing it back into the environment.
Liva is a sustainably produced viscose that incorporates all of the above and the fibres
are Oeko-Tex 100 certified. It is a wonderful draping fabric that is both breathable and biodegradable.
Both Liva viscose and regular sustainable viscose are biodegradable fibres – making them the perfect addition to our collections.
closed-loop system
Our viscose fibres, including Liva viscose, are produced using the closed-loop system and adhere to strict environmental policies.
biodegradable
We love viscose because as well as being a biodegradable fibre, it drapes beautifully – making it the perfect addition to our collections.
