Local walks inspiring sustainable clothing

Nomads HQ is based in Cornwall, and we are very lucky to have so many stunning walks in the county where we can explore and fill our days with inspiration drawn from our love of the outside. Our SS24 collection has been designed to be matched with the all-changing weather whilst being made sustainably, from pretty prints and textured cotton trousers to lightweight GOTS organic cotton knits to add an extra layer on breezy days.
In our endeavour to do better for the planet and those we share it with, we're always thinking about our impact on the environment, the global community and all living things, taking steps to minimise it at every opportunity. From eco-friendly dyes we use in our garments, and the natural-fibre fabrics we grow sustainably.
We wanted to share some of the beautiful local areas we have on our doorstep and maybe inspire you to shop more sustainably and responsibly by choosing slow fashion that's crafted around a commitment both to ethical, fair trade and to sustainability.
Here are some places staff recommend visiting..

Riverside Walks

Indulge in a riverside walk in Calstock nestled in Southeast Cornwall. The National Trust’s Cotehele estate is a short walk away and is one not to miss. An atmospheric Tudor house with Medieval roots, a mill on a historic quay, a glorious garden with valley views and an expansive estate to explore.
The National trust is always happy to receive more support to help keep nature and history flourishing.

Family Attraction

Have you heard of The Eden Project? It's a visitor attraction in Cornwall. A place where they transformed a disused china clay pit into a beautiful global garden. They demonstrate and inspire positive action for the planet. Great for a family day out to inspire the next generation on positive impact on our planet.

Floral Inspiration

Fancy wandering through glorious flower fields….
We have floral prints that would be a perfect match for a picture among the floral fields. We have a range of places in Cornwall that really are perfect picture locations.
